Fresh Hope and Fresh Air - Starting a new life in Hattersley |

In 2005 the Mancunian Reunion Project began working to bring Hattersley residents together to share memories of their Manchester roots,and their experiences of building a life in a new community. At a series of events and community workshops Hattersley residents decided that they wanted to preserve their local history. From these workshops the Mancunian Reunion Project came into being and the collection of memories of people who had moved to Hattersley in the 1960s and early 70s began. The Mancunian Reunion Project was supported by Hattersley Neighbourhood Partnership and Tameside Libraries.
